DeVere’s Nigel Green wins coveted Int’l Personality of the Year at IFP Awards

Nigel Green, the founding CEO of deVere Group, was named International Personality of the Year 2018 at last night’s International Fund and Product Awards in London.

The 19th annual IFP Awards, hosted by International Investment in the magnificent surroundings of Merchant Taylors’ Hall in the City of London, brought together more than 250 of the industry’s key players.

More than 35 companies from all corners of the globe, attended the glittering ceremony – the longest-running of its kind in the world.
The judges described Green (pictured left) as being “as controversial as he is inspirational.” James Green (pictured above), received the award on behalf of his father.

Speaking to International Investment’s Gary Robinson, Green said: “We all work extremely hard at DeVere and it genuinely is a team ethic within the company , but I am absolutely delighted with these awards.”

“More so for the International Personality of the Year award for my dad if I’m honest. He was looking forward to being here but a commitment with an event with the Maltese government has meant he couldn’t get here in time. I know how pleased he will be though.

And the winners are…
Among the other big winners of the evening was Green’s son, James Green, who became the recipient of the inaugural Best International Young Talent Award, at the age of 31.

The Fry Group won the award for Best Best-Practice in Financial Advisory/Wealth Management, and Old Mutual International won Best International Fund Group.
Best International Life Group was awarded to RL360, and Utmost won in the Best International Trust and Estate Planning Product category.
